New Morning Mercies
John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” So, if God is the Word and the Word is as eternal and life-giving as the God I worship, how much more important is my dedication to the meditating, and studying of God’s Word? Do we see the importance of God’s Word? More importantly, do we know what the Bible says? I mean really know it. The type of knowing that is deep in your heart ...

Perfectly On Time
Chris Renzema has a song that says, “And maybe it's not so bad, if right now is all we have. Cause as long as You're here with me, I can let go of these old dreams.” When I made the decision to apply for an internship at Black Diamond Camp, it felt like I had reoriented my entire life. My Favorite Place at Camp
When you come across the bridge at the entrance of Black Diamond Camp you are greeted by the friendliest of all trees. This tall tree sits on the bank of the creek and monitors the traffic. The traffic of the kids walking in its shade, the traffic of cars crossing the bridge it stands next to, and the traffic in the bustling creek that flows beside it. Of all the trees at Black Diamond Camp this is my favorite one. Its leaves start as the smallest buds in spring and ...
