Accommodations Coordinator
General Description:As a member of the Accommodations team, this position plays a key role in supporting all operational departments to create a seamless, welcoming experience for every guest who comes to camp. We are committed to offering Christ-centered hospitality, and this role helps ensure our spaces reflect excellence, care and an environment where guests can encounter Jesus without distraction.
General Qualifications:The standard qualifications for being on Black Diamond Camp staff include being willing and able in good conscience to support our statement of faith, values, and mission as an evangelical Christian, non-profit ministry. We are looking for a person who will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, support daily Accommodations and Laundry operations, and assist with projects that enhance guest spaces. This role requires flexibility for weekend, midweek, and evening shifts, regular and reliable attendance, and a cooperative, team-minded attitude. Head Cook
General Description: As a key member of the Food Service team, this position helps create excellent dining experiences that support the overall hospitality mission of Black Diamond Camp. This role leads kitchen operations to ensure meals are prepared with quality, care, and consistency, contributing to an environment where guests can encounter Jesus without distraction.
General Qualifications: We are seeking a person who can help maintain a safe, efficient kitchen, prepare high-quality meals, and foster a positive, team-minded work environment. Applicants should have experience in food preparation, kitchen coordination, and upholding sanitation and safety standards. Guest Services Assistant
General Description: The person in this position will be part of a team that provides outstanding hospitality and service to individuals and groups. The members of this team will serve in Food Service through general food prep, delivery, presentation and customer service before, during and after meals. The person in this position will also serve on the Accommodations team by preparing facilities for guest use, cleaning sleeping rooms, meeting areas, restrooms and public spaces. They will be scheduled according to their specific training and skill levels along with the various needs of each group and event as these demands will vary the schedule and shifts from day to day and week to week.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBCM; Black Diamond staff, we are looking for a person who maintains an environment of professionalism, safety and hospitality and works collaboratively as a team. Weekend availability is a must.

Camp Counselor

Program Team Leader
General Description: Do you feel called to lead, go above and beyond to make things happen? Then we have the job for you.
We are seeking enthusiastic, relatable, and friendly people who love Jesus and that have been a part of the Black Diamond Summer team for a summer. This position is heavily involved with both our Day Camp and Group Camp programs and Director/Managers. You will help plan, organize, facilitate and assist staff that are involved with our summer programs. Service Team Leader
General Description: Join us as we serve humbly and wholly towards others, while investing in the next generation.
We are seeking outgoing, adventurous, Jesus' loving, individuals that want to help change the middle school and high school range campers. You will be immersed with the campers 24/7 and have opportunities to truly show what a servant's heart is. Media Team/Photographer
General Description: Memories to last a lifetime!
We are seeking an experienced, creative individual who is interested in capturing the lifelong memories that are made at Camp. You, as a photographer, will work with the Marketing Team to capture, edit, and distribute exciting, high-resolution images of our summer programs to be shared online and in various marketing projects. You will be immersed in the camp experience and grow in both artistic and technical photography skills. You should be comfortable shooting in Manual and proficient in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Group Camp Speaker
General Description: Do you have a passion for sharing the Gospel with younger generations?
We are looking for a fun, engaging, and high energy speaker to present our curriculum to middle and high school students in a way that they can relate to and take to heart. As our speaker not only will you share God’s word to youth, but you will also have the opportunity to get to know them on a personal level by doing camp activities, joining the groups at meals, or just hanging out with them. Worship Leader
General Description: March to your own drum? Do you know how to slap the bass? When you sing, do songbirds land on your finger? If the answer is yes to these questions, we have a great position for you.
We are seeking multi-talented vocal, guitar (acoustic, electric, bass) and percussion (full set hard drums) that love Jesus and love to lead others in worship. Kitchen Staff

We are seeking individuals that love the idea of making great food, eager to take initiative, love Jesus and able to be a team player. Summer Lifeguards
General Description: Make a splash and have fun this summer!
We are seeking Christ-centered, responsible staff to join our Activities Team as Lifeguards. In this role, you’ll primarily serve at the pool, using your training and certifications to ensure safety while creating a welcoming and fun environment. Maintenance Staff
General Description: Are you ready to make a lasting impact behind the scenes!?
We are seeking hard-working, Christ-centered staff to join our Maintenance Team. You’ll help care for 160 acres of lawns, forest trails, play fields, and over 50 buildings—keeping camp safe, beautiful, and ready for every guest. From daily upkeep to special projects, your work ensures that the ministry of camp can thrive. You’ll grow in teamwork, problem-solving, and practical skills while serving with excellence. Important Information
- Standard Summer Staff contract is end of May through the end of August. For more information, click here.
- Staff must attend their “Staff Orientation” training at the beginning of summer and will receive a stipend for that orientation period. Contract pay will begin upon completion of orientation.
- Summer Staff are required to live on-grounds in dorms or cabin style accommodations with other staff members or campers.
- Meals are provided during the week, and optional weekend meals. In most accommodations there is a kitchen available to make your own meals for your times off, if desired.
- Scheduled time off will depend largely on position and staffing each summer.
- We will interview applicants as they apply and will accept applications until all positions have been filled.
Contract dates can be flexible based on your availability. Please consider applying even if your availability does not match with the dates as listed above as we would still review and discuss if there is any way to accommodate.

College is a time when students are thinking about careers and ways to achieve their goals. We develop our summer staff and help them use their time at Black Diamond to make a real impact on their futures. Some are called to camp ministry as a full-time career, others go into the world to do incredible things for the Kingdom of God, using many skills they learned at camp. From counselors to food service workers, to camp administration to retail to volunteers, we’re looking to fill a ton of different jobs.
Internships
Christian Camping Year-Round Internship

General Description:
A Christian Camping Intern will be placed in roles that are up front with guests as well as working behind the scenes. They will be the face, hands, and feet of Black Diamond Camp and God’s purpose here. This unique position will allow Interns to work together as a team and with the other Black Diamond Staff to fill a vital role at Black Diamond by serving groups to fulfill Black Diamonds mission. When not working with guest groups each Intern will get an opportunity to shadow all areas of our camp ministry as well as participate in classes and experiences led by our full-time staff. The internship program at Black Diamond Camps gives you an opportunity to see every side of camping ministry. Through the program, each intern has the opportunity to be mentored by full-time staff as well. The person in this position shall, always, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests, and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position. Adherence to a published schedule is expected and required.
This is an hourly, part-time position $19.82/hr

Strong sense of hospitality and customer service. Ability to create energy in a group setting. Ability to create a portion of a schedule for a group. Strong sense of community and ability to get along with many staff within a small community. Strength in controlling emotions when tired or frustrated and continue to be hospitable, smile, and treat guests with kindness. Easily communicate with guests and youth pastors in a professional manner. Willing and able to learn and be teachable. Work well with and relate to youth.
