Head Chef
General Description: This position will build a strong team in the kitchen to produce outstanding meals for guests/campers. This position directs the kitchen operations and culinary experience for optimal guest satisfaction, employee training and morale, safety, and efficiency. A main aspect of this position will be the opportunity to build and mentor a team of food service staff to contribute towards authentic relationships, biblical truth and outdoor adventures. Opportunities for professional development is also available.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp Ministries staff, we are looking for a person who has experience managing a kitchen operation and supervising a crew, enjoys providing high quality meals and proficiency in culinary quality and has a love for Jesus Christ and desire to make Him known.
Specifics: This position will begin as soon as possible. This is a year-round, full-time position. Pay range will be $45,000-$60,000 DOE. Hiring bonus of $3,000 payable after satisfactory completion of first 90 days. On campus housing available. For more information click here.

Challenge Course and Adventure Activities Manager
General Description: This position provides, with mitigated risk, the "fun" and adventures to be had with the Challenge Course (adventures such as the 3D Climbing Wall, Leap of Faith, Zip line etc.) along with other recreation activities such as drift trikes, axe throwing, archery tag and indoor swimming pool as well as other activity spaces and equipment for group activities and games. All while providing the necessary risk management policy and procedure for related areas and functions. This position will also serve as lead facilitator, supervisor and program staff as needed. As the manager of the Activities team, the person in this position will engage in all of the current and future programs and activities needed by Black Diamond Camp (BDC) and help provide the Christ-like change that comes through authentic relationships, biblical truth and outdoor adventures.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp Ministries staff, we are looking for a person who has a current ACCT Level 2 Challenge Course certificate or Course Manager certificate. The person in this position will oversee all campus recreational spaces and equipment so we are looking for someone with attention to detail, high priority on safety and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at one time. Ability to manage and oversee all required inspections and certifications. As a manager, this person will also schedule and manage staffing and help with recreational requests and needs.

The focus of this position is in assisting in kitchen operations and culinary experience for optimal camper satisfaction. The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests, and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position. Adherence to a published departmental schedule is expected and required.

Guest Services Assistant
General Description: The person in this position will be part of a team that provides outstanding hospitality and service to individuals and groups. The members of this team will serve in Food Service through general food prep, delivery, presentation and customer service before, during and after meals. The person in this position will also serve on the Accommodations team by preparing facilities for guest use, cleaning sleeping rooms, meeting areas, restrooms and public spaces. They will be scheduled according to their specific training and skill levels along with the various needs of each group and event as these demands will vary the schedule and shifts from day to day and week to week.
General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBCM; Black Diamond staff, we are looking for a person who maintains an environment of professionalism, safety and hospitality and works collaboratively as a team.

Camp Counselor
General Description: Are you ready for one of the most rewarding summers of your life!?

You will guide, teach and be their friend through all the challenges that they face at camp. Worship Leader
General Description: March to your own drum? Know how to slap the bass? When you sing, do songbirds land on your finger? If the answer is yes to these questions, we have a great position for you.
We are seeking multi-talented vocal, guitar (acoustic, electric, bass) and percussion (full set hard drums) that love Jesus and love to lead others in worship. You, as the worship leader, will prayerfully plan sets appropriate for staff, campers, youth pastors and families from all denominations. (Filled for 2022.)
Summer Service Team Leader
General Description: Join us as we serve humbly and wholly towards others, while investing in the next generation.
We are seeking outgoing, adventurous, Jesus loving, individuals that want to help change the middle school and high school range campers. You will be immersed with the campers 24/7 and have opportunities to truly show what a servant's heart is. Program Team Member Lead
General Description: Do you feel called to lead, go above and beyond to make things happen? Then we have the job for you.
We are seeking enthusiastic, relatable and friendly people who love Jesus and that have been a part of the Black Diamond Summer team for a summer. This position is heavily involved with both our Day Camp and Group Camp programs and Director/Managers. You will help plan, organize, facilitate and assist staff that are involved with our summer programs. You will grow in leadership and communication skills, develop problem solving and teamwork skills along with creating friendships to last a lifetime. (Filled for 2022)
Maintenance Staff
General Description: Do you like getting your hands dirty? We have 100 acres that need your green thumb like yours.
We are seeking staff that are good with their hands, do not mind being in the sun, love Jesus and are self-motivated to complete tasks. You, as a maintenance person, will help with existing projects alongside the full-time maintenance people and maintain lawns, trails and play fields. You will learn how to use certain lawn power tools along with any other traits you might need for this position. For more details, please click here.
Kitchen Staff
General Description: Do you love making food? Do you love to be in the kitchen? Get your apron on and let’s start cooking.
We are seeking individuals that love the idea of making great food, eager to take initiative, love Jesus and able to be a team player. You, as a kitchen staff, will work as a team which will all have multiple roles within the kitchen. Activity Staff
General Description: Do you seek adventure and desire to challenge others out of their comfort zones? If so, then come be a part of our activities team.
We are seeking adventurous individuals that love Jesus and the outdoors. While being a part of the Activities team you will help set up and facilitate high elements such as our zip line, rappel wall, leap of faith and other camp activities. You will guide, teach and challenge all ages to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. For more details, please click here.
Important Information
- Standard summer staff contract is Mid-June through the end of August. See specific dates below.
- Staff must attend their “Staff Orientation” training at the beginning of summer and will receive a stipend for that orientation period. Contract pay will begin upon completion of orientation.
- Summer staff are required to live on-grounds in dorms or cabin style accommodations with other staff members or campers.
- Meals are provided during the week, and optional weekend meals. In most accommodations there is a kitchen available to make your own meals for your times off, if desired.
- Scheduled time off will depend largely on position and staffing each summer.
- We will interview applicants as they apply and will accept applications until all positions have been filled.
Contract dates are semi-flexible based on your availability but also the needs of the camp. Please consider applying even if your availability does not match with the dates as listed above-we would still review and discuss if there is any way to accommodate.

College is a time when students are thinking about careers and ways to achieve their goals. We develop our summer staff and help them use their time at Black Diamond to make a real impact on their futures. Some are called to camp ministry as a full-time career, others go into the world to do incredible things for the Kingdom of God, using many skills they learned at camp. From counselors to food service workers, to camp administration to retail to volunteers, we’re looking to fill a ton of different jobs.

Christian Camping Year-Round Internship

General Description:
A Christian Camping Intern will be placed in roles that are up front with guests as well as working behind the scenes. They will be the face, hands, and feet of Black Diamond Camp and God’s purpose here. This unique position will allow Interns to work together as a team and with the other Black Diamond Staff to fill a vital role at Black Diamond by serving groups to fulfill Black Diamonds mission. When not working with guest groups each Intern will get an opportunity to shadow all areas of our camp ministry as well as participate in classes and experiences led by our full-time staff. The internship program at Black Diamond Camps gives you an opportunity to see every side of camping ministry. Through the program, each intern has the opportunity to be mentored by full-time staff as well. The person in this position shall, always, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests, and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position. Adherence to a published schedule is expected and required.
General Qualifications:
The pursuit of a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to scripture. Gets excited by meeting and getting to know new people frequently. Strong sense of hospitality and customer service. Ability to create energy in a group setting. Ability to create a portion of a schedule for a group. Strong sense of community and ability to get along with many staff within a small community. Strength in controlling emotions when tired or frustrated and continue to be hospitable, smile, and treat guests with kindness. Easily communicate with guests and youth pastors in a professional manner. Willing and able to learn and be teachable. Work well with and relate to youth.
