Volunteer

Your God-given talents are needed here.

Volunteers are a vital part of our camps, serving both behind the scenes and out front, to help provide campers with exciting adventures and inspiring spiritual experiences. Black Diamond Camp is ideal for volunteer groups or individuals who are led to serve.

Our multi-generational volunteer corps draws people from all walks of life with a wide range of talents, skills, and experiences.

Volunteer Opportunities

Handy with a saw, hammer and drill? We always have needs for property maintenance, like changing lightbulbs, unclogging drains, fixing switches or shoring up fences. It’s a big place and there’s no end to things that need fixin’. Our volunteer tradesmen help us get the job done with their craftsmanship, skill and expertise. If you’re skilled in the art of DIY, we can use your talents.

Service Team

Servant's Heart, Build Relationships, Discover Truth!

Students ages 15-17 have the opportunity to earn over 150 hours in community service! Spend 3 weeks during the summer, living and working with your peers, while being discipled by a college aged Summer Staff. Not only will you be working in the kitchen washing dishes, but you will also have the chance to participate in adventure activities and serve in our other Summer Programs!

Landscaping Party

May 30, 2026 | 9am-12pm

The Landscaping Party is a hands-on community work day where volunteers come together to prepare camp for the busy summer season through planting, cleaning, and outdoor improvement projects. This event is for alumni, families, supporters, and anyone who enjoys serving behind the scenes and wants to invest directly in the beauty and readiness of camp. Lunch provided!

RSVP below and add "BD Landscaping Party" to Specific Event section.

My daughter said this was the best camp she has ever been to. She can’t wait to come back again. Each day when I picked her up she looked tired and happy after her full day. Up until this point, Maddy has had children’s Story Bibles. The camp checklist prompted us to purchase her first real Bible of her very own. She is really proud of her Bible and she will always associate it with the camp.

Day Camp

Again, big THANKS for all your hard work in making our retreat this past weekend a phenomenal time for our students and leaders. We had many students make decisions to make following Jesus a more central part of their lives, and your work is part of that ministry! We’re grateful.
