Give Thanks

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.

His love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of gods.

His love endures forever.

Give thanks to the Lord of lords.

His love endures forever.”

Psalm 136:1-3

 

His love endures forever. God’s enduring, steadfast, never ending, all consuming, tender, gracious, lavish love endures forever! His love endures forever. Give thanks!

The Psalmist goes on to express all the amazing ways that God was with the people of Israel through good times and bad. Give thanks!

His love endures forever as He blessed them, as He delivered them, and as He provided a hope and a future for them. Give thanks.

God’s enduring and steadfast love is sustaining you today, is blessing you today, is delivering you today. Give thanks!

 

Prayer: Lord may You envelope us with Your steadfast love today. May we be in awe of how great, how good, and how glorious You are. We give thanks. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise forever and ever amen.
