Summer Leadership Intro: Chase

Hi there! My name is Chase Rodriguez, and I am excited about being this years’ Group Camp Speaker! I am originally from sunny Phoenix, Arizona, and have been in the Seattle area for almost nine years. I’ve had the privilege of serving in various youth ministry contexts in both the Church and non-profit organizations, which has led me to my current position as the Bible and Theology Teacher at Rainier Christian High School.

My wife, Ali and I live in West Seattle where we enjoy visiting local coffee shops and spending too much money on good food. Weather permitting, you might find us getting overly competitive on the tennis court!

Camp experiences had such a formative role in my spiritual journey growing up, which is why I was so excited to be invited to be one of the Group Camp speakers last year. It was such a blessing to be back at a summer camp but in a leadership role! I have loved being part of an incredible team of leaders and counselors, and watching God work in-and-through the lives of young people in such powerful and transformative ways. This gives me a renewed sense of excitement and anticipation for what God is going to do this summer! See you there!
