Ideal for: Ministers and their Families | Ages: All Ages | Dates: October 5-7, 2020
Come away and escape
Spend time in creation to worship the One who creates.
A chance to refresh, decompress, and dig deeper with God in His creation. This 3-day getaway is a perfect opportunity for ministers and their families to create their own adventure at their own pace.
Real One-On-One Time With God and Family
Pastoring can be stressful. No matter if you’re an assistant pastor of a church of 40 or a lead pastor of a church of 4,000, shepherding the people of God can take a toll on your mind and your body. Aren’t you always available to listen and to offer spiritual advice for those in need? Pastors need vacation and counseling too, and oftentimes the opportunity for pastors to recharge is not available or affordable. Whatever situation you find yourself in as a leader, finding time for intimacy with God and your marriage are necessities. Our Minister’s Escape Retreats are specially designed for pastors and their families to take some time away from home, because paying attention to your personal spiritual wellbeing is crucial for a healthy relationship with God.
Bring 3 For Free
We’re excited to offer another “3 For Free” Minister’s Retreat! Bring any three from your ministry for free. Use it as a time to get away, to plan with teammates, to enjoy our activities, to meet others in various ministries, to escape into the mountains for some adventure or solitude. This time is YOUR time, and we are here to serve you however we can.
3D Climbing Wall
Indoor Rock Wall
Leap of Faith
Blacklight Mini Golf
We are hunters, and adventure is our game. We are unstoppable, and you are our prey. Take aim and bring ‘em down, before they get you!
Ball hard, or maybe just a game of horse. Whatever your game, come break a sweat on our full court. Pick up moves with other campers from around the country, or take 'em to school like you do at home.
You may only be a few feet off the ground, but that doesn’t make it easy. You’ll need balance, footwork, and strategy to beat our bouldering wall!
Maybe you want the latest shirt, or a new comfy hoodie. Maybe you need a bigger coffee mug, or a fresh new water bottle to cover with stickers. Whatever the occasion, this stuff is the best!
When you’re in the land of coffee, you drink a lot of coffee. It’s okay, we do too. Come enjoy a nice, warm atmosphere in our Mountaintop Coffee Shop and grab a cup!
Can you curve the frisbee through the trees? You’ll have it down after you play here! Come test your skill on our technical course!
Dodgeball is better when you glow in the dark...
Fuzzy wristbands, Keds, and sliding sideways on a Big Wheel made for some serious street cred back in the day. Well, we've amped it up.
Guaranteed to break the ice. This is camp-olympics! From scavenger hunts to more inventive contests, you're sure to make a few new friends along the way.
Ga-ga wha? Trust us, it's not for babies. Part dodge ball, part tag and part king of the hill, it takes action to another level. Stay with it. Rule the octagon!
Get outside and into the beautiful nature God created for us. There are miles of trails through our dense forest that any adventurer will enjoy!
Ever wonder what it’s like to fly through the trees? Harness up and get ready to soar!
Your heart pounds as you overcome your nerves and step off the edge. What were you thinking? Total focus. Step by step. Now you're down, confident. Again!
Bring it on. Serve it up. Spike, slam, wham, attack - Let your competitive spirit take over. You'll need it. Dig, set, spin, spike! Leave the campfire for day's end.
The high-flying thrill of our zip lines can be a lot. That's why we've developed a course that's just right for building confidence in our younger campers.
There’s nothing normal about this. You’re jumping out of a perfectly good tree. One of the biggest trees on camp, at that. Harness up, clip in, and get ready to fly!
It’s chilly outside, but that doesn’t mean you can’t swim! Our heated, indoor pool is perfect for every season!
Are you agile enough to get across? Use that ninja skill of yours and see if you’re among the few to make it to the other side.
3D Climbing Wall
Because climbing regular holds was too easy. Climb the crane, or maybe the logging truck? Which path will you choose?
Indoor Rock Wall
Are you a climbing purist? Want to send it on a more traditional route? We’ve got you covered. Chalk up and hit the wall.
Low Elements - Mountaintops
The floor is lava! Work together as a team to get everyone to safety in this group development challenge.
Low Elements - 3D Web
For those who thought our 2D web wasn’t enough of a challenge. This will test your group decision-making on a whole new level!
Low Elements - Labyrinth
Remember that game on your phone where you guide the ball through the maze? It’s that, life-sized!
Low Elements - 2D Web
You’ve got one goal: get to the other side. Your team has limited resources and just enough hands. Work together to figure out how to traverse the web with this group development challenge!
Leap of Faith
Your heart is pounding. You look down off the platform and see your team holding on to your rope. All that’s left is to jump. Do you take the leap?
Think you can climb to the top of this suspended challenge course? What about if you’re attached to a friend? What about two friends? Let’s see you beat our record. Hint: it’s under a minute.
Explore high in the trees with this suspended walkway. Whatever you do, don’t look down!
Blacklight Mini Golf
All the perks of putt-putt, glowing in the dark! See how many strokes it takes you to complete this illuminated course!
Four squares isn’t enough. Why not make it nine? Why not have it in the air? Let’s see how long you can hold the top spot.
These are no toys, but they are a lot of fun. We may not be slaying giants, but you will get good target practice. Take aim. Hold your breath. Steady. And...
BB guns are a lot of fun for beginners and expert shooters alike. Squeeze off a few pellets and plink some targets, and you'll see what we mean.
Who can hit the bullseye first? Learn how to properly use a shortbow with this fun target practice!
Adventure Upgrades are a way for us to keep the cost of camp low for everyone while also offering extra adventures to those who want them. We offer one package: “Whitewater Rafting Trip“. See details below and if you would like to add it, just be sure and choose the option during the Sign Up process.
It’s like navigating a torrent of liquid adrenaline while being yelled at to paddle harder, faster, this way and that – or else – you’re going swimming involuntarily. Suddenly the reason for the helmets and life jackets becomes crystal clear to you. This couldn’t be more fun!To add this to your camp experience, choose this option during the Sign Up process.
