Meet the Team – Guest Services Event and Internship Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Delaney, and I grew up going to Black Diamond Camp! I gave my life to the Lord at the Rainier location when I was 12 years old, and camp has been a huge part of my story ever since. I love being outdoors, going on road trips, taking film photos, and visiting National Parks. I’m engaged to Dylan Clapp, and we’re super excited to be getting married this summer! My sister, Sheridan, and my dog, Finnegan, are two of my best friends.

Over the years, I’ve experienced Camp in so many different ways—first as a camper, then as a Group Camp leader in 2022 and 2023, part of the Summer Staff Media Team in 2024, an intern, and most recently as the Summer Staff Program Head in 2025. Each season brought new lessons, challenges, and memories that deepened my love for this place and the people who make it so special.

Now, I serve as the Guest Services Event and Internship Coordinator, and I absolutely love the Black Diamond Camp community and working with our guest services team. I’ve met amazing people, built lifelong friendships, and learned so many new skills—whether through activities, events, or in the coffee shop. I’m especially excited to work with the interns over the next few months; they’re such a fun and encouraging crew, and I can’t wait to see all that God does in and through them this season.
