Meet the Team – Accommodations Manager

In July of 2024, I attended my first Christian camp at the age of 35. It was while staying and serving at Warm Beach Camp with my husband that I discovered my love for camp ministry. Shortly after, we moved to North Carolina for my husband’s Pastoral Residency. It was there that our hearts became burdened and convicted that we needed to leave the Bible Belt and return to a place of darkness that needs the light of the Gospel.

After much prayer, seeking the Lord’s will and guidance, my husband began networking, which led to him accepting a vocational pastor position at a church in Black Diamond.

I immediately knew I wanted to work at Warm Beach Camp! However, I didn’t realize how far away it was from Black Diamond. But then, God! I learned that Warm Beach Camp actually had a sister camp in Black Diamond, and not only that, but there was an opening for the Accommodations Manager position for my organizing and cleaning-obsessed self! The Lord really is in all the details!

My husband and I are excited to serve and love our neighbors both inside and outside of camp, and we cannot wait to see all that God does here at Black Diamond Camp and in Washington.
